NYK’s Automotive Business division controls over 120 modern Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC) vessels, making us the largest RORO/PCTC operator in the world. Our Automotive Logistics Division handles integrated inland transportation and storage, leveraging a global network to provide high-value services that seamlessly connect deep-sea, short sea and inland transportation routes.

While traditionally focusing on transportation of completed vehicles from Japan, NYK has continuously adapted and responded to the shift towards overseas production by OEM’s.

We are hence constructing coastal transportation networks in Europe, China and Southeast Asia. We are building and operating dedicated state of the art ro-ro terminals across the world and we are investing in and developing extensive inland transportation networks – ahead of other companies and always with our mission in mind: “Bringing value to life.”
