Block Train Network
For your inland transport needs, NYK offers a comprehensive network of rail services linking vessel calls at Amsterdam and Rotterdam with the major industrial centres of Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, Northern France and Czech Republic.
The main focus of this is a six-times-weekly block train service to Duisburg, supported by dedicated connections from Duisburg to Amsterdam and Rotterdam aimed at export cargo.
In addition to the Duisburg connection, NYK offers a weekly Block Train connection between Amsterdam and Lovosice, located north of Prague, providing an ideal gateway to northern or western Czech Republic and the Prague Metropole Region.
These services offer our customers the benefit of faster transit times in and out of the Czech Republic via Amsterdam and Rotterdam, by avoiding congestion at Hamburg.
