NYK runners raise money during Hamburg marathon
For the second time, NYK Line (Deutschland) GmbH have supported a fund raising campaign of the charity "phoenikks" during the Hamburg Marathon on April 27, 2008. Three members of staff (Michael Stolp, Torben Stecher, Tim Bruun) joined the official Marathon runners for stretches of 10 km with buckets in their hands to collect coins and notes from spectators standing alongside the track. The approx. 180 "phoenikks" runners collected a total of Euro 17,079. This amount was generously topped up by several corporate sponsors - NYK Line amongst them.
