The deteriorating rate levels in the Asia to Europe trades have reached a position that is no longer commercially viable. To enable NYK to continue offering a quality liner service, it is essential to increase our rates from April 2009.

The exact quantum and timing will be advised to customers by their local NYK representative depending upon their individual contractual arrangements
