Samsung (UK) and NYK Logistics have together won the award for Logistics Best Practice at the 2010 Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT) Annual Awards for Excellence.

NYK together with Yusen Air and Sea Service today announce the launch of Yusen Logistics in Japan. This announcement marks the start of integrating all NYK Logistics and Yusen Air and Sea Service operations into Yusen Logistics globally.

Grand Alliance partners Hapag-Lloyd, Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK) and Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) today announced their Winter Program for Asia-Europe services, with effect from December 28, 2009.

 

Four of  the GA???s current Asia-Europe services, EU1, EU2, EU3, and EU4, will be temporarily adjusted into three weekly services, renamed Loop A, B and C.

Would shippers please note that there is an additional requirement to provide information on marine pollutants for certain generic, as well as N.O.S, entries in the Code. IMDG Code amendment 34 is mandatory from 01 Jan 2010. NYK will be implementing IMDG code amendment 34 from 09 Nov 2009 and will therefore be requesting shippers to provide this information.

Shippers are reminded that International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code amendment 34-08 becomes mandatory on 01 Jan 2010.

IMDG code amendment 33-06 ceases to be valid from this date.
