NYK announces stage 2 of its structural revenue recovery (SRR) programme.
Further to our letter of 9th March announcing our SRR commencing on 1st April, the freight rates on the Asia – West Mediterranean trade route continue to be commercially unviable. To ensure we continue to offer you the high quality liner service expected of NYK, we are forced to implement stage 2 of our SRR. As a result, we plan to increase our rates from 1st June 2009.
The rate increase is as follows:-
For westbound cargo from Asia to the West Mediterranean: US$ 250 per TEU
