NYK Group In Europe

Within Europe the NYK Group companies offer a variety of career opportunities within shipping and logistics business divisions at various locations (see 'European Locations'). We operate Liner (container) and RORO (roll on/roll off) divisions across the UK and Europe where we employ people in port operations, customer services, trade and marketing, business process, cost control, IT, accountancy and HR. At our London Headquarters we have specialised LNG Energy Transport and Ship Management divisions where we have a variety of roles ranging from Vessel Managers to Marine Superintendents and Commercial Managers to Project Accountants.

How to Apply

To view all current vacancies please click on the current vacancies arrow icon at the bottom of this page, where you will find a list of all open positions. Please click on the position you wish to apply for and this will take you to the application form where you will need to complete personal information, your cover letter and attach your CV. When you have completed all fields in the application, click 'Submit'. A confirmation message will appear on the screen and you will receive an email confirming receipt of your application.

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process starts when you have submitted your application online and you receive confirmation of receipt of application. If from your application, you appear to fulfil the criteria we have outlined in the job advert, we will aim to get back to you within 14 days of the closing date. The recruitment process is usually made up of two interviews and depending upon the vacancy, there may also be tests relating to the specific role and the technical skills required. Psychometric testing may also be carried out. Where possible, face to face interviews will be arranged however if we have candidates who are not based in Europe; the interview may be carried out via telephone or Skype.
